Captives of Hope was born as an extension of God’s blessings in my life. Hope has kept me afloat on many dark days. Hope is a lifeline that comes from God’s throne. It is a raft that keeps its followers from drowning. I found hope in the quiet places of prayer, when my heart spoke to God what my brain could not figure out. I wanted to share my hope with anyone. Destiny Simms, the author, is the mother of 2 children and devoted wife of 12 years. She has been a Christian for 12 years as well. She is a teacher, writer, and a dedicated servant of Jesus Christ. She has a Master’s degree in education and a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management. She endeavors to touch people everywhere for the cause of Christ.
